Sunday Services: 8:45am SS-10:00am 11:00am 6:00pm

Wednesday Prayer Meeting: 7:00pm

Jonathan McClain is interested in starting a Bible study for young adults (high school graduates–20s) that meets weekly, possibly on Sunday afternoons. See him if you are interested, and if you know of anyone in that age range, turn in their name and we will contact them.

This Saturday, the RISE Ministry will meet 12pm-3pm in the fellowship hall.

A look ahead…

Sunday, August 31, the Youth Choir will practice at 4pm and then sing in the evening service.

Sunday, August 31, we will have a Commissioning Service for Josh & Christal Hicks and Ed Strickland in the evening service followed by a Church-wide potluck fellowship immediately after the service, in the activity building. Bring your favorite dishes, sandwiches, snacks, desserts, drinks, etc., and we’ll put it all together for our time of fellowship.

Tuesday, September 9, there will be an Appreciation Dinner for our youth workers. This is for all youth workers who have helped this year in any youth ministry, from nursery to college. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, August 31. See Tony Walker with any questions; the signup sheet is at the Teen Room door.

Pray for our Missionary of the week: Ricardo Salceda: Philippines, IBMA
